What is AR-NIXUS?

AR-NIXUS.M1 is Augmented Reality System for combining virtual and real worlds in real time. With recognition of any square marker patterns that is called “AR marker”, it can calculate the marker position to use marker-based tracking library. AR-NIXUS.M1 can be also used to move or direct CG objects by actor. AR-NIXUS.M1 provides extremely seamless insertion of 3D objects and fantastic experiences you have never seen in the traditional virtual system. AR-NIXUS is not required any hardware mounted on a camera so it can create virtual objects in a various scenes using current camera in any places. It can completely work without any camera sensors and chroma-key backgrounds.

Creating 3DCG objects it can work with 3ds Max or Maya…

3DCG objects such as modeling, material, animation or character required for AR-NIXUS.M1 can be created on GUI using an authoring tool of 3ds Max or Maya.
Using 3ds Max or Maya enables artists and designers to create virtual objects easily.

AR control software "xARc [ʃάːk] can manage all configurations such as marker and CG registrations, and adjustments for AR. By linking complicated 3DCG operation to marker and 3DCG at 1:1, AR makes it possible to create a virtual CG automatically by marker recognition.
